During the same time the Pals, headed by Jerusalem Mufti Husseini, supported Hitler and called on him to come to Palestine and kill all the Jews there. The total number of British soldiers killed in Palestine during more than 25 years of mandate was less than 300, many of them killed by the Arabs during the 1929-1936 riots.
