The sad fact is they do have a winner with the homicide bombers. It's very difficult to fight people willing to die so easily Not if you have enough time to inculcate a cult of martyrdom. The Japanese did not have problems finding kamikazes, for instance. Yet we won in the end. Remember the Godfather II and Micheal Corleone's comment after witnessing a Cuban suicide bomber? He said it is time to quit this country, can't do battle with people that don't fear death. I remember. Aside from questions of drawing basic premises from mob movies, remember that Michael Corleone was hardly fighting for his life. He was just looking for a quick profit.
