Hi Elmat, The 'small' (as in privately operated and sometimes having correct information) Chinese language press in China reported at various times that it was probably a bomb laden vehicle, possibly a tracked vehicle of some sort. They did show a various photos, also of one road repair type vehicle from the security camera pointing in the direction moments before the explosion.

I do not understand the significance of it all if the vehicle bomb was true, other than possibly what everyone already know, vehicle bombs are easier (as in being cheaper, takes less time, require few expertise, granting higher survival rate for instigators if they so choose) to organize than airplane raids, and can prove more disruptive to the general economy over time.

Chugs, Jay
