Stockman..With all due respect, the article, like so many others in the past two days, starts with a premise, Israel has done bad, provides not one single shred of tangible evidence, and then jumps to conclusions about accountability. Surely, we ought to wait till we learn what has happened.

A television picture is a strange thing. What you see, may not be the whole picture. I don't argue that buildings were blown up in Jenin. I also believe, that the roads were filled with bombs, and that the safest way for the Israeli's to advance, was through building walls. It was a necessary method to gain military advantage of the battlefield. Urban warefare, always shows up destructively in post-mordums, and Jenin will be no different. Time will tell, if the Arab stories of mass graves stand up under scrutiny, or if this is another case of Sadat claiming that he's destroyed the entire Israeli airforce as in '67. The truth trackrecord of the Arab world leaves something to be desired.

Respectfully,
bill :-))
