There was no news out of the Boltan play today as they are
still moving equipment on for the test to find out how big
this well could be. But during the course of the day,
Olympia certainly saw their stock all over the place and
the only explanation for it seems to have been the use of
stop losses by many people, hoping to protect their
speculative funds or are trying to find a safe way to play
potential downside risk. It looks like the moment Olympia
traded under $4.00, it triggered a series of stop-losses
that brought Olympia as low as $3.28, before recovering
dramatically. Just when you thought you’d seen everything
you could see in the market - here you go with something
new. Looks like the Atlee Buffalo heavy oil play is coming
in better than they had expected though, for Olympia.
