I just read that article I'd posted a little more closely. One og the therapies consisted of dripping warm herbalized sesame oil on peoples' foreheads.

Sounds like it could be warmly theraputic .

Sometimes people when sick are not inclined to eat much or too weak to take in enough normal nutrients ...but always thru the senses can the mind be at least calmed , and the body warmed , thru pleasant smells and gentle touch .
Really important to us all.

How often have we been overwhelmed and inspired by the fragrance and scents of a garden and growing things? How much of our illnesses begin to arise gradually when we neglect to spend more time in those
natural surroundings.

Can always remember how stark white and forbiddingly sterile the hospitals used to be ...and then they simply realized that they could at least paint the walls a more
soothing & pleasant color ...or have pictures on the walls
in the children's rooms. I mean how simple a change is that ?

I always dreaded dying in a white hospital room as much as a catholic does without a priest! I could die alone in a field, drown in the ocean , or under a tree , but not in a hospital. Thank god they have changed finally.

Look how long it took the computer industry to realize that a computer didn't have to be a square grey or white box.<G>
I was just completely amazed that it even took Steve Jobs
of Apple that long to offer a screen and CPU that was curved and beautiful to look at . I mean for years computers were sooooo ugly to look at !

prolly cause he was also over ay Pixar, LOL, and around alot of color animatist & special effects people .

Apple just got upgraded on Tuesday ...

;-)
