I'm still holding PVO & hope that gold has bottomed. What I've heard is that gold was driven down by the short sellers and also possibly the big producers are shaking out the marginal producers (perhaps for good) so they'll have a bigger piece of the pie once the price rises.
I am also keeping my eye one Churchill Res. (V-CHK / V-GSL) which has gone up 45% in the last 3 days. They will have way too many shares out after the amalgamation but their Angostura property in Columbia is producing really good results. When two companies sharing a property drop all of their other projects and amalgamate you know there must be something special about the property. They've also brought in a 2nd drilling rig and have recently reported up to 58 gpt for 8m and 18 gpt for 30m. Even the road to the site has been drilled and has great results.
The reason I've mentioned Churchill is they have a great property and they're doing lots of drilling. It's the only gold share I own that's
moved into the green - everything else is down 50 - 70%. In order to prosper in this market you need to diversify.
