Hi Poet,

I think if the politicians in Washington endorses financial reparations for slavery based on PC (it can be argued there are already social programs institutionalized by our government for the survivors of past racial injustices) at this point in time, it would create such a schism in the fabric of American society (as our great country is now composed of a diverse blend of people, most of whom have absolutely nothing to do or have ever endorsed black slavery) as to negate fifty years of progress towards racial harmony. Receiving a monetary kick back based simply on the melanin distribution of human beings is disgusting: it's another form of financial slavery. Just my opinion.
