It behooves me, in a politic manner, to inform you that your comments about Ross are nonsense.

Whoops, calm down. It's not a personal observation about you. It's a comment about Dennis Ross, not even about the foreign service, the low pay they get, or just how honorable they are, or the profession is.

As for those comments, I wouldn't know Dennis Ross if I saw him anywhere. I'm simply responding to some poster who thought he carried the unvarnished truth about the ME negotiations with tekboy's observation many, many posts back that he was not a great admirer of Ross'. And that he was capable of changing his views, however slightly, to fit changes in administrations.

I also want to make the point once again, and to underline it, that we do not have an authoritative source for these negotiations. So far all sources have severe conflicts of interest.
