Valuepro - Thanks for the information and NR references.

You were not confused – the Sept 27 NR stated that “two tonnes of kimberlite NQ-drill core from the Freightrain and Cargo 1 pipes was loaded on board” (with the 320 tonne samples), and the Feb 7th NR said “Diamond results from the 14 other JI-FT core holes that intersected kimberlite and two Cargo 1 core holes will be announced as soon as they become available".

Here is the present scenario: Fifteen of the 17 Freightrain drill holes intersected a total of 314 meters of kimberlite (Nov 2001 NR). The core of one (FT4) was airlifted to Lakefield in mid September for analysis and the results were announced in the February 7 NR.

Also yet to come, according to the 2001 Annual Report, are the results of 9 samples totaling 2,591 kg from the TORNGAT North Area ensuring “complete coverage of this section of the dyke.”

A turn-around time of more than 6 months for analyzing two tonnes of drill-core seems excessive. Is there a remote possibility that the results of the above sampling are known, and Twin neglected to make the information public? If not, does anyone know when to expect the results?

An argument could be made that the drill results are at least as important as the surface samples as a contribution to the understanding of Freightrain's economic diamond potential.
