Fred...we goota hire you for the PR department of Sharon...he needs all the help he can get....

Silly diplomatic moves by Sharon....He announces to the public that Powell should not meet with Arafat. This puts Powell in a public bind...If he does not meet with Arafat then it looks like to the world that Powell is taking orders from Sharon. Diplomatically this almost forced Powell to meet with Arafat to show his independence.

I think that the terrorist groups in Palestine are aligned with Arafat but he does not control them. Much like the Prez does not control all the Republicans in this country. (He wishes he did )...

In the Israeli press a few days back it was mentioned that if Arafat was harmed or removed by Sharon the Labour Part in Israel will bolt from supporting Sharon and that will cause a new election.

For the sake of debate, lets say that Arafat is a terrorist with proper credentials (proof). Where does this leave Bush???? If he moves on Arafat he can kiss his war on Sadaam goodby. So I think the solution is let Arafat alone and go after the greater evil...(Sadaam in) Iraq.

Just opinions with no solutions....Jerome
