POG may maintain flatline or even manage a sharp decline. Anything is possible.

A case can be made for 'this time things are different' but then I am told a case can always be made for this time is different.

Maurice's attitude towards the equity market has gradually been changing, probably due to continued mismatch of developing reality on the one hand, officialdom pronouncements OTOH, and yikes, news facts on the third hand, and ... what is this? news truth on the fourth hand:0!

The only sure way of winning a 'guess where the bean is' shell game on the streets of NYC is to pick all three shifting shells, and not even then winning is assured. So, best to keep tight grip on wallet instead.
