| D-man, I want to take this opportunity to start calling you "Teach" (short for teacher, since you didn't score too well on you english SAT"S). I think this is a great place (My boat, of course) to have students, wanting to get better at making money in this toxic wasteland of the otcbb's. (Stinkers, is a favorite name I use for these stocks!) So, I will begin by saying that I will never fall in love with a stock again! ECNC, was enough of a lesson, and I believe I have a decent education on how these co. operate, legit or not. ETCR just happens to be a stock I have have held for a yr. and have done some dd on and actually have a piece of paper that says I own 37 preffered shares of something that I supposedly will be able to convert and sell on the open market. I really don't care what happens to the co. or their product but would love to see a couple more run ups. With that out of the way, let me play the "long term believer guy" and throw questions at you and let's see where we go. First off "your shares will be worth less when the coversion takes place will only happen if you don't sell your shares during the pump that will occur to get investors to buy the dilution. (I hope I get an "A" for that one.) As far as the preferred shares go, on my cert. it says (and I quote) To maintain conversion priviledges, all holders of the preferred shares must be holders of their common shares (Would an attorney say that sold shares that were bought don't qualify and that only shares that were held throuh the year were eligible? I think that may be a possible loop hole that will burn those who sold and buy back before the conversion date. Think about it, if they wanted you to hold your shares why would they give you the freedom to sell and buy back cheaper, later. ("utha" food for thought) Maybe a C+ on that one! I remember the last days before the dividend and how the vol dropped and I thought that these guys wouldn't be that stupid (after all this is the bb even if they have a legitimate product that doesn't mean they would throw money at investors when they could be throwing it at themselves. The only thing that keeps me thinking about their product is the fact that they are mentioned as the pilot provider for the state of Kentucky. It's a long shot that they may actually may make it happen on their own but it sure presents more money making opportunities then ECNC at this time. ;>)))!!! |
