Financing / Nation Energy NATION ENERGY INC - Closes Private Placement Toronto, Ontario, Apr 09, 2002 (Market News Publishing via COMTEX) -- The Company is pleased to announce that the private placement previously announced on December 4, 2001 has now closed. The private placement was arranged with a single investor of 5,000,000 shares at US$0.20 per share for total proceeds of US$1,000,000 bringing the Company's total shares issued and outstanding to 16,020,000. Proceeds of the private placement will be used for general working capital and to pursue the Company's oil and gas exploration program in Alberta.
