Since it's an 8th generation CPU, why not call it Octium; it will be abbreviated "K8" anyway. Octium not only gets the 8th-generation message across, but it also sounds like it is high-power (octane ratings for fuel). I wonder if Intel has Octium as well as sexium, the natural prologue to "pentium", trademarked?

Assuming the name is available, how would Intel retaliate? By calling the next design the nonium (sounds like a phantom CPU) or decium (sounds like a decimal adding machine)?
