Probably the only effective way to stop them is either to build a wall around the west bank and Gaza strip, or destroy the infrastructure the sends these kids with their bombs. We can't even find half of the bombs going through security at an airport, and yet here you claim that Israel should be able to stop the bombers in Israel without any checkpoints. And if Israel were to build such a wall which would force all of the Palestinians through checkpoints, guess who would be the first one denouncing the Palestinians plight? Also, you never win a war by letting someone attack you. You must stop the source.

Isn't that exactly what is going to have to happen, just as Tench's previous article on Sri Lanka pointed out. Only when both sides get desperate enough will both sides agree to peace. And your idea of making Palestine desperate, is to allow the suicide bombers to keep attacking Israel without any retaliation. That really makes sense. Just as Bill's, lets just sit back and take it culminated in Sept 11. Is Bill remembered as a great leader for that one? Only in your mind.

Both sides have hated each other since long before King David; or haven't you heard about King David and Goliath? What the heck makes you think it will stop this century, without something catacysmic to stop it. The only way this will stop is if the outside forces, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, stop funneling arms and money in to keep the war going. |
