This is becoming a HUGE public relations nightmare for Sharon. It's sad that Rabin is not still around -- he was truly committed to peace and would not have allowed the invasion of Jenin to take place. In fact, I feel that a lasting peace agreement would have been in place if a terrorist had not assassinated Rabin. Sharon has proven that he often over-reacts in a militaristic way -- The last 2 weeks of IDF activity will come back and haunt Israel. And believe me, I am not supporting any of the Palastinian suicide bombings either --> they have been condemned and they clearly were very harmful and helped elevate the level of violence.
