I was perusing light reading; you know, the rag wherein many an investor lost his/her respective shirt reading. Anyways, it appears that Dominion Resources telecom division is buying up the assets of failed telecom companies at pennies on the dollar. See here: lightreading.com While Electric Utilities are often viewed as "stodgy" slow growth companies that pay a nice dividend to the old ladies, it really appears that Dominion Resources is looking for growth... This could be interesting.....
