Don't know about bce <--> trp, won't be surprised. They're probably everywhere, and there's only so many canadian companies around.

For the right price, I'd buy either one anyday.<g>

BCE's core assets include Bell Canada (80% owned - SBC Corporation 20%); BCE Teleglobe (95.4%); Bell Globemedia (70.1%) and BCE Emergis (65%). Through BCE Ventures, it also has equity investments in leading companies such as Bell Canada International (73.7%), CGI (31.6%) and Telesat (100%) (as of December 31, 2001).

Both teleglobe and emergis are draining them. Monty looked like a genius when he divested of NT. Stock has been more than fair to me. But what has it done for anyone lately? <g>
