Conference Call on 7/16--
will start at 8 a.m. California time. I called the company, asked for IR, and was directed to Rebecca Lester (actually an assistant to the CEO). She referred me to an outside firm that is handling the conference call so I could "register" for the call. I don't have the "registration" telephone number at home, but it's in the 415 area code. When I "registered" I was given the number for the conference call 800-553-2599. No access code needed. (I'm not sure of the point of the "registration", as I am sure they are not going to screen incoming calls.) Right now, no replay is planned, so catch it live.
Very little would surprise me about CRNR anymore. I didn't think the stock would break through 6, so I'm not going to rule out a drop below 5 before the conference call. I think the stock is grossly oversold, but it doesn't matter what I think. I do think the bad news has been completely announced. If they go below a .02 loss, or above a .02 gain, they're open to a securities fraud suit after having announced an approximate break-even. I suspect we'll be looking at a slight loss that will equate to no more than .01/share. We'll see. Once the number is officially out, and If management gives some indication they've got a plan, we should begin the slow climb back to 7. |
