Good morning,

Yes, good point about how people like different things -- and at different times. I was in one of my rare "guy-type adventure flick" moods last night. Generally, I'd rather stare at the cover of a poetry book for an hour and a half than watch one of those films.

I've heard of David Ives! I'll keep an eye out for him now. The Mamet sketch must've been a hoot. He writes dialogue unlike anyone else -- and unlike natural speech, IMO. It's very mannered, in a staccato, wiseguy kinda way.

I'll admit I've not even heard of Brotherhood of the Wolf. Who's in it and what's it about?

I'm off to do yard work. I'll have you know that I've completely overcome my aversion to dog shit. I now huck it over the fence with my gardening gloves. I don't think I'm fooling any of my neighbors as to where it's coming from, though, as I've noticed that it's only the stretch of road outside my picket fence that's littered with flattened poops. Luckily, this being New England, no one's said anything about it.
