I assume you don't mean that the bleeding hearts were cheering about the WTC, but that Palestinians were cheering about the WTC.

So what? They have the right to think things you and I find repugnant without being killed, or harmed in any way. Their right to free speech isn't dependent on the American Constitution, it's an inalienable right of mankind.

People who care about the rights of others believe that all humans have rights. People who only care about their own rights are on very shaky philosophical ground. If others have no rights, then you have no rights.
