Couldn't tell you, but I'd wager that it's much higher than the percentage that's pro-America... they're not necessary pro-Taliban, they just view the Taliban as being good Muslims and as brothers. Note how many Taliban were allowed to go free by the Northern Alliance, much to the chagrin of the Americans. Lots and lots and lots. The Afghan people threw off the shackles so eagerly because it's instinctive for people to bask in freedom... but I highly believe that if the Taliban came back into power, they wouldn't be resisted by the people, because the people's understanding of their religion starkly contradicts freedom. Most thought that the Taliban was an ideal Islamic government. Note that many women still wear their burkas. >>Once again, perhaps there should be a better term than "terrorism". >Once again, I think its very apt.
