If women realize what their choices are, they can make better decisions. I feel for women who think that they can have a family later in life and then find out they can't.

If they know early that the twenties and thirties are the time period in which to both have a family and build a career, they will choose one over the other with their eyes open. Or they will find an appropriate way to do both. They can postpone the career knowing that it may not be the same career that they might have had. Or they can foster an extended family situation where they can do both concurrently. Or marry money and pay for an extended family. Or they can get lucky and find a suitable husband and viable eggs at forty, but they can't count on it. Or they can find, later in life, a suitable husband with kids from a previous marriage and have a family that way. Or they can nurture their nieces and nephews while they have an affair with someone "totally unsuitable." If they are not misled, they can choose.
