So now what? So the Saudis made themselves a little PR campaign, that's what. After all, the main subject of discussion before this was Saudi complicity in 9/11 and its refusal to help us fight Al Qaeda. They needed a change of subject. With a war on in Israel, they knew it was safe that Israel would not accept the deal, but just to make sure, they threw in 'right of return' and the bogus claim of Israeli occupation of Lebanese Shabaa Farms (a claim so bogus that not even the UN supports it). Notice how your beloved Al Ahram articles are insisting that this is not a start for negotiations, but a 'minimal' deal. If Israel accepts this deal, then Israel has just voted itself out of existence. Don't hold your breath.
