t4, yes the posts here this weekend sort of completed the circle. After reading all this I'm wondering if a parameter to keep an eye on is the ST rates. I've been ignoring them of late. Knew there had been lot of refinancing going on, but didn't really understand or know much about the swaps. Maybe in the end what we have is a deeper hole being dug. It has steadily been one creative financing gig after another, over the last 20 yrs or so. Usually in the interest of short term parading of the numbers. We all know there ain't no free lunch, well at least that is my opinion. My strategy this yr was to devote most of my funds to a somewhat patient IT or even LT strategy, consisting of PM's and shorts. Have thrown in a few gasser trades as well. As of yet see no reason to change tactics. Good Luck.
