It is, well....Disneyland. At this point I am somewhat cynical about it, but as long as JXN is having fun....

Yesterday, when we were buying our tickets (we bought seasons passes <gasp>) and there was a loud explosion. Everybody came out of the ticket building to see what was going on....turns out that the train had built up a lot of steam and had let it out with a rather large BOOM. It was interesting to see how on edge people are about this kind of stuff.....me just as much as anybody.

We've done the train a couple of times, the jungle cruise a couple of times, Peter Pan, the rocket ships. With a little guy, you really do need to spread it out over a couple of days.

The last time we were here, we stayed at the "Californian", this time we are at the Disneyland Hotel. We'll be staying at the Californian the next time.

Legoland is all the way down in San Diego...long drive.
