I should have been clearer. I talked to my broker on
Friday. Asked about a blue chip that has taken a pounding
but might have bottomed (Telus). He replied that the telcos
were down in after hours trading. Gave me the impression
that trading continues over the weekend. If not, can you
explain a second thing to me. What does the pre-market mean?
I see commentary on the pre-market and the direction it is
taken before the mkt opens. Are people trading stocks as
during the normal day? If so, who is doing the trading?
The brokerages? I'm just trying to get clear how a 24
hour day works re the market. I follow the gold trades
using Kitco and so know what is happening in Australia,
Hong Kong and London but that is trading on mkts. other
than the US and Canada.
