Somehow I don't think they will get the chance. Remember 1982. Israel attacked and destroyed Saddam's nuclear research facility by complete surprise. They were vilified worldwide at the time. But today we clearly see their vision and shudder to think of what might have been had they not acted.

Now Saddam has decentralized his nuclear R & D. That is the threat we are dealing with. But Syria and Iran are continuing missile development and when they start testing, it will only be a matter of time before their facilities are attacked and destroyed, even at the risk of war.
