The longer the Israeli Defense Force stays in the occupied territories the tougher it will be to withdraw -- sort of like The U.S. and Vietnam. When Bush asked for a complete withdrawal NOW over a week ago he way saying that because it was truly in Israel's best interest....Now, we have seen what's happened in Jenin, Ramallah and other cities -- lots of unintended consequences....I TOTALLY agree with William Buckley's assessment of Sharon's military campaign.
