First of all, the beginning of the Jewish migration back to Palestine began around 1920, and reached a cresendo after the war. What I am trying to say, politely I hope, is that Israel is responding solely to present circumstances, not inflicting damage on Palestinians in revenge for past misdeeds by Hitler.

Frankly, I see another war coming, with Israel attacking Lebanon, and possibly Iraq and Iran;, and giving part of Israel and lebanon to the Palestinians to create their state. That would put a weak state, Palestine, between them and Lebanon, and would create a smaller border. However the Jerusalem problem will have to be addressed. |
