i still think inflation has been hiding cleverly in a closet, that closet being the stock market.
i will sadly be selling a property bought in 1974, it has increased in value by 1,500% since it's purchase(that's why i have got to sell), that seems inflationary to me.
I read that a dollar from 1982 would be worth 52cents now, i guess that is what they call creeping inflation:)
All i know, prices seem to keep going up, but hey there is NO inflation--housing,energy, electricity, education rising, but no inflation worries.
And the price for medicines, that's has blown the top off the thermometer.Max
