That is very true, but Joe Sixpack doesn't really control squat when it comes to a multi-billion dollar market cap stock like Barrick...it is totally swung by the institutional analysts and the large index and hedge funds that own it or trade it. Some of whom read this column largely because they think it tells them what Joe Sixpack thinks. If we were talking about any of a hundred junior golds I would completely agree with you.
