Yes, and what kind of "freedom for the populace" has Israel been working on in the West Bank and Gaza for the last 35 years? What kind of "internal atmosphere" does Israel desire? There's been a rather large amount of whining, here and among the bloviating pundits, about any reporting of the "internal atmosphere" in the West Bank of late. Odd, that.
