"John Ashcroft's war on terrorism includes the most far-reaching gag order in First Amendment history" Did John Ashcroft write this law? "The law states: "No person shall disclose to any other person ... that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has sought or obtained" these records." I'm wondering if he has new powers to write laws that I am unaware of or if you and the author are just pissed that he is using the law to catch terrorists.
