I didn't like his first comment a year ago where he suggested that we could live with the risks to human beings in order to advance science.

I don't think he feels a clear and solid perspective on this so maybe he is still bouncing around trying to find his niche.

I have some thoughts of my own but haven't formed a solid adherence to either political side of the cloning issue. And no sense getting in a hurry. The finger pointing at the religious right or the left wing radicals is a bad sign that makes me think we will struggle with it until judgement day.
