This is pathetic. If a phoned-in bomb threat by a 13-year
old boy can trigger the closing on several banks in Washington D.C., it makes one wonder what the purpose of the newly-formed Dept. of National Security (or whatever the heck they call it) is. If they cannot differentiate between credible threats and pranks, it will do us more harm
than good, resulting in a never-ending string of false alarms. This constant disruption is precisely what the real terrorists want; all the better if our Dept. of Whatever helps them create a constant sense of fear and unease.
