I wouldn't want to be short going into earnings, especially given the fact that there has been no "earnings runup" whatsoever. Maybe the next few days we'll see some short covering. I hope so; the pounding we've been taking has been discouraging.

If they're generating cash at a faster rate than before, they may be able to boost the share buybacks.
