If, on the other hand, everybody knows that their lives are not in danger if they give up
And everyone could believe that you could win the lotto 7 consecutive times buying only one ticket per week. That's more likely.
Read it again, I said 95% of the Palestinians, the people, were turned over to the PA. That's the percent of the population in Area A.
Ok. I'll read it again.
when 95% of the Palestinian population of the territories was delivered into the hands of PA.
So I suppose Area A might be the West Bank and Gaza? But maybe not. But it's clever the way you isolate the population from the land mass...perhaps omitting part of the story?
Let's look at Gaza.... news.bbc.co.uk
Gaza, one of the most densely populated tracts of land in the world, is home to 1,178,000 Palestinians, 33% of whom live in United Nations-funded refugee camps. Gaza is also home to 6,900 Jewish settlers.
Israeli-controlled areas and settlements take up about 40% of Gaza’s land. Israel controls all external borders, crossing points and major roads in Gaza.
That's a pleasant story isn't it? There are 6,900 Jewish settlers vs. 1.178 million Palestinians...or 0.6% of the population are Jewish settlers, but Israel controls a mere 40% of Gaza land. One of the most densely populated places in the world...and 33% of those 1.178 million Palestinians are in refugee camps.
