The department added that the non-settling states' case "raises for the very first time the prospect that a small group of states, with no particularized interests to vindicate, might somehow obtain relief with wide-ranging, national economic implications."

what this means, and everyone knew already if they had any kind of common sense or a head on their sholder, is that the Settlement between the DOJ and MSFT is no longer material..... everything hinges on the states case against MSFT, if they win, those new remedies will apply to MSFT for everyone..... if the states lose then the DOJ's settlement will apply with what ever changes the judge wishes.....

and then the loser will appeal to the supreme court...

you people gambling by holding this stock for the next month are rolling the dice with a 50/50 chance now... so far the people who held it for the last month when i said you had a 50/50 chance are losing...... i hope you realize that you are gambling, rather than investing, because no one invests with a 50% chance of losing big time.....

good luck you will need it....

jon.
