And i mean hey, can you adequately demonstrate to us that the sky is not falling? No, but I can make a case that it's not falling YET, that there's time to think this through, to determine what the risks are, what would trigger them, and how to recognize the triggers, and to make a plan for how to avoid them. The proposal on the table is to make all human cloning illegal in the US. And that is going to accomplish what? Certainly not stop the sky from falling. All it does is make some decision makers feel righteous and get them some votes from their fellow righteous. Doesn't stop cloning. It's a feel-good solution to what might be a serious problem. Or not.
