Justice delayed ... justice denied.

It doesn't matter to me what happens with the DOJ. The horse has left the barn. Besides MSFT gave us a fat, bald guy prancing around a stage like a frat boy at a free kegger. Now THAT's good humor. Money can't BUY that.

Having had 401K money embezzled by a job shop (five year lawsuit ... don't know if Ralph ever did a night in prison even though he plead guilty) and another shop break U.S. labor laws (Dept of Labor declined to prosecute) ... I lost faith in the justice system a long time ago. Without penalties there are no incentives for companies to obey the law. MSFT just raised it to an art form.

But there is finally some amazing INNOVATION going on out there. Watching the Simpson's on TiVo. Slow motion of "girls jumping on trampolines". I like it. An Apple GUI on top of UNIX. I WANT some of that! Excel running on Linux. Very cool. A lot of open source work going on. MSFT is doomed. They'll have to come up with Microsoft Unix to compete. Maybe Micro(sUe)NIX.

Now if I can just land a job ... I might get my hands on a G4 Powerbook. Delayed ... but not denied.

Best of luck.

Microsoft ... got TOAST?
