[EDIT - I doubled down in PCS on 4/11 (Wed?) at an @ of 9.41 - never did any more AWE - was not low enough and bt a lot of WCOM @ 4.54 on the 10th (Tue?) Good day to be meeting a new client. Yes m'am I am always this lucky, er .. smart.]

OK - if we don't get a move today - we are indeed extremely deceased.

Sprint FON Group (FON / NYSE)
The company reported first quarter earnings of 33 cents per share, versus the 30-cent estimate, but below the 35 cents in the same period last year. Consolidated revenues totaled $6.76 billion, an increase of 8 percent from $6.25 billion a year ago. Sprint PCS reported a loss of 15 cents per share, versus expectations calling for a loss of 20 cents.

Sprint FON Group (FON / NYSE)
Morgan Stanley Co.
Raising 2002 estimate to $1.27 per share, as the company's margins showed improvement in the first quarter. Maintain Equal-weight position.

Sprint FON Group (FON / NYSE)
Merrill Lynch
Given the puts and takes primarily surrounding the ION adjustment and the add back due to the allocation of interest expense associated with structure of the tracking stocks, we are raising our 2002 EPS estimate for 2002 by $0.15/share from $1.18 to $1.33.

Sprint PCS Group (PCS / NYSE)
Deutsche Banc Alex Brown
Reiterate Buy rating, after robust first quarter EPS results. The stock is down 59% year-to-date, which we believe is extremely oversold.

Sprint PCS Group (PCS / NYSE)
Salomon Smith Barney
We maintain our Outperform rating, while we are reducing our target price to $14 from $18 to reflect current market valuations. Also raising 2002 and 2003 EPS estimates by $0.20 and $0.22 to ($0.56) and ($0.40), respectively due to cost improvements.
