Dear Michael: Thank you for posting the NYT article. There's a lot to comment on in it. In terms of this statement:

"If the judge rules that a new vote is required, Mr. Hewlett could delay or possibly even end the attempted merger."

With all that's gone on lately, should a new vote be required, I wonder whether a number of CPQ shareholders who originally voted FOR the merger would now vote AGAINST. There's been quite a bit of good news released on the CPQ side and a *lot* of questionable for HWP.

In terms of Deutsche Bank, I do believe they are being totally honest. I also think, thought, that someone there, probably a member of it's proxy committee, was against the merger and communicated with sympathetic 'ear' WW.
