I have noticed that the the military capability we provide to Israel to defend itself is being used to crush the Palestinians
Hmmm... so all the Palestinians have been killed already and driven out of the West Bank?
Really now... just what are the Israelis crushing? A terroristic and incredibly corrupt regime headed by Arafat, who is buddying up to the Iranian ayatollahs?
If the Israelis wanted to "crush" the Palestinians, they would have done so and there wouldnt' be a Palestinian left on the West Bank or Gaza (they haven't yet invaded Gaza, now have they?)
If they wanted to "crush" the Palestinians, they would have launched massive carpet bombing raids and used 15,000lb "daisy cutters" on Palestinians towns. They would have launched massive artillery barrages against them as well... They would have taken out Jericho, which is a major Palestinian stronghold on the Jordanian border.
The only thing the Israelis are "crushing" is the terrorist network that Arafat wouldn't/couldn't control. And yes, some innocent folks caught in the middle are going to die.
But given that 60-75% of all Palestinians supported the use of suicide/homicide bombings, can any but the children be truly called innocent? That would be a matter for debate.
And the only thing the rest of the world is noticing is the dark stain appearing around the crotch of their 3-piece suits. They don't like seeing the US taking this kind of action when they all have a substantial muslim population, some of which are holding demonstrations in which parents are placing simulated explosives around their children's waist...
These aren't people living in Palestine, or even under occupation.. Can you imagine an American parent putting a fake bomb on their own child's belly, essentially stating they would permit their child to be blown up?
I'm sorry.. but if that's the mindset the people of the middle east are developing, the quicker we "purge the gene pool", the better.
