Socialist? Gimme a break fella. I'm very capitalist.

You are very delusional if you believe that. The democratic party has become an extension of the socialist party.

Just a few democratic plans:
Universial healthcare, anti-school vouchers, abolishment of the 2nd amendment, anti-privatization of Social Security.

These are meant to make or keep the educational and health care institutions socialized. These plans also help to strip our powers and rights as citizens.

The democratic agenda is to tie people to the state, to make them dependent on the state, and to control them. If that isn't the classic socialist agenda, I don't know what is.

As for this "Republic" stuff, maybe it's time we changed that. Doesn't make much sense in today's world

A Republic makes perfect sense. With a democracy you would take all the power away from the smaller 39 states. Candidates could win by going after a few states like New York, Illinois and California...

I am for some sort of electoral reform that is within the Constitution. Maybe get rid of the winner taking all of the electoral votes for that state. Break up the electoral votes by the percentages. If candidate A gets 80% of the vote and candidate B gets 20%. Split the electoral votes respectfully.

(Edit)You would still need 270 electoral votes to win
