Even Bush admitted today hydrogen cars are the vehicles of the future.

I don't understand this "hydrogen" car of yours.

The fuel has to come from somewhere. If your going to get it from water you'll need electricity (and lots of it). The electricity in turn has to come from somewhere, a power plant, that will require fuel (nuclear?).

There are no free form sources of hydrogen on Earth that I know of. It's locked up in water and other compounds. In fact the best way of getting hydrogen is in the fossil fuels (hydrocarbons) of oil, coal, gas.

I read somewhere, might have been Popular Mechanics, that the fuel cell car that Ford is working on actually STILL uses gasoline. It just chemically turns it into electricity and water instead of burning it.

We need more fuel that doesn't from the ME, and more different kinds of fuel.
