SE is not going up because of all of the stock buybacks - being used to fund these options plans. The amount of goodwll on their books is reasonable for a $30+ billion SE company. Amortization went down because FASB changed the rules. The earnings report was reasonable and they were able to be reasonably upbeat because their main competitor has not been able to keep up on the mfg side. Feels like K6-2 all over again. Expect an AMD warning tomorrow night, and I am relative AMD bull. I guess Elmer and Monica and Tony got to me. But seriously, am I the only one nervous at the pushout of 2400+ and 2600+ and 2800+? At this rate we will be a full Ghz behind on raw clock speed - did not Jerry indicate this would not be so? Jon
