The company put out really excellent results for its congestive heart failure trial and the stock got pounded. Not easily explained by me. It is also sitting on plenty of cash (close to CDN$40.0 m) and does not have to raise near term dough, so that is not a worry. It beats me as to why it isn't flying, but the market is the market, so I will just stay patient, lick my wounds and add once in a while. The whole biotech complex is in the tank, so that may be part of the answer. I haven't changed my mind about the relative value of the stock, but it sure does test one's patience (but of course, so did IBM). (g)

On a related front, a couple of others that I have mentioned are starting to wake up. My favourite "sewer rat" stock has signed a number of new contracts of late (delightfully, the company makes very low profile announcements with respect to same) and my favourite little gold stock is starting to trade (up about 80% from its recent bottom). I expect both to continue to improve as their assets and business opportunities become better known. I continue to quietly accumulate both.

Best, Earlie
