You can't have services and security without taxes. Just a fact of life. Death and taxes, remember? As much as soem would like to complain about taxes and the IRS they're actually there for our society's protection.

You say I listen too much to the NRA propaganda. Sounds like the you have sucked up all the govt. propaganda on taxes.

If the IRS weren't there, everyone would cheat or refuse to pay and the USA as we know it would cease to exist. That is not a viable option.

Our country grew very well without taxes for 137 years. Federal taxes didn't even take effect until 1913 and then they were very minimal until World War 2. Taxes were relatively low even after the socialist programs created by the New Deal. It wasn't until comrade johnson created the Great Society that taxes started to become outrageous.

I want our country to cease to exist as we know it. I want the social programs eliminated. I want the govt. to shrink to its rightful size. I want the govt. to only fill its role the way the Constitution intended it to be. Article 1 section 8 spells out the role of the government.

The IRS is not a federal institution. They have no authority to break the 4th and 5th amendment of individuals, which they constantly do.

I believe in some taxation, but not at the level we are being pillaged at.
